Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer - Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description: This position requires a self-motivated individual passionate about improving manufacturing processes and coordinating producibility issues between Technical Operations and Production operations.
Duties include:
- Improving manufacturing processes
- Root cause / corrective action analysis
- Working with operators to ensure work instructions are accurate and adequate to yield high-quality products.
- Identify and provide necessary justification for new equipment to improve existing processes or provide new capabilities.
- Review of new designs for manufacturability
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ year of experience in a machining environment supporting shop floor
- 1+ year experience with SAP
- Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methodologies
Desired Skills:
Experience with Apriso
Strong communicator and able to work across disciplines to solve problems and find technical solutions
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
