Job Description:

Performs a variety of Accounts Payable and cash payment tasks, participation in the quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits and statutory audits; general administrative duties and other related Accounting/Finance related activities.

Following are r esponsibilities related to Accounts Payable role:

  • Receiving, processing, and verifying vendor invoices in high volume manufacturing facility

  • Ensuring 3-way match as part of invoice processing

  • Distibutes accounting mail for proper distribution

  • Review printed checks to ensure proper authorization and mailing addresses prior to mailing

  • Supporting Sales Tax compliance

  • Maintain records in compliance with SOX requirements & satisfactory for statutory audits

  • Other duties as required

    Qualifications:

  • Requires demonstrated proficiency in job knowledge/skills

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in large corporation

  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering industry

  • Associates degree in Accounting

  • SAP or another common ERP platform
