U.S. Probation and Pretrial Office - Western District of MI Operations Support (Administrative) Technician #24-09 in Grand Rapids, Michigan
The United States District Court Probation and Pretrial Services Office for the Western District of Michigan is accepting applications for one Operations Support (Administrative) Technician (OST) position in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo, or Marquette (the duty station for this position is yet to be determined). The OST provides specialized technical, administrative, and clerical work in the court unit's operational support department. The incumbent assists in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the Probation Automated Case Tracking System (PACTS) through extraction and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and completeness of electronic entries and records. The incumbent also provides assistance to probation officers in a wide range of areas, including verifying and compiling information for investigations, coordinating with other agencies, and drafting reports and correspondence. Salary Range: $47,966-$85,974 per year, dependent on qualifications, experience and duty station. (Starting salary commensurate with work experience and current or previous Federal court experience).
