In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quality control program, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards.

salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Document Management:

  • Develop, edit, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Food Quality and Safety Programs.

  • Utilize revision control systems to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all documentation.

  • Format and organize documents for clarity, including tables of contents and matrices.

  • Identify and document variances or gaps in existing procedures and track their resolution.

  • Internal Audit & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct internal audits of our Food Quality and Safety programs, including HACCP, SOPs, GMPs, forms, and procedures.

  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with our food safety systems.

  • Develop and manage Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs to address identified risks and continuously improve our systems.

  • Prepare for and support external audits by accreditation bodies and customers.

  • Communication & Collaboration:

  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues and customers.

  • Support the development of new project risk assessments and change management plans.

  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of HACCP plans, SOPs, and new product launches to ensure compliance with current and potential certifications.
