North Central Area Credit Union Teller in Grayling, Michigan
North Central Area Credit Union is looking to fill the position for a part-time Teller.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to members, both in person and over the phone
- Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and financial services
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Perform basic math calculations and utilize 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and offer appropriate products and services
- Educate members on various financial products and services, including loans, credit cards, and savings accounts
- Handle member inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner

Skills:
- Strong cash management skills with the ability to handle large amounts of cash accurately
- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Excellent math skills for accurate calculations and handling of financial transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized assistance to members
- Knowledge of retail math principles for effective sales and product recommendations
- Familiarity with financial services and products, including loans, credit cards, and savings accounts
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
- Ability to identify opportunities for financial sales and cross-selling to meet member needs
- Strong relationship management skills to build trust and rapport with members
