Wood Anchor Inc Line Cook in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Prairie Whale is a popular restaurant in Great Barrington, MA. Our goal is to serve high quality food in a warm, fun atmosphere which encourages people to return again and again. Prairie Whale is looking for a sous chef and a couple of line/prep cooks to join our team. Also willing to train someone with less experience. For sous chef, minimum one year prior experience in a similar position. The jobs include day to day prepping, cooking and an opportunity to be a part of an evolving program. Aside from our main line, we also have a wood fired pizza oven in our garden that we incorporate when staffing allows. We pride ourselves on using local and sustainable sourcing of ingredients, prioritizing our neighboring farms and foragers whenever possible.
