YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?

  • Access to the latest BIM Software and Integration Platforms

  • Deliver 3D modelling expertise to a variety of multidisciplinary projects in the MEP discipline.

  • Actively support the BIM Manager with the development of skills and capabilities of the design teams to assist project delivery within a BIM compliant project environment, relevant to project team needs.

  • Interfacing with multi-disciplinary project teams and supporting BIM & Digital Delivery benefits at project level.

  • Working independently to support the engineering team with their Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health modelling and drawing sheet production requirements.

  • Space management and coordination.

  • An enthusiastic “can do attitude” with strong communication capabilities.

  • Take the initiative and advise on best practice.

  • Implement and maintain BEP requirements.

  • Advise the team on significant clashes and information issues related to the BIM aspects of the project.

  • Interface with the project CDE in order to share and collaborate using the latest information.

  • Due to the nature of this specific role, there will be a minimum level of security clearance required.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • BIM (Building Information Modelling) & Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience working in both 2D and 3D

  • Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)

  • Experience of relevant software such as Revit (MEP), Navisworks & BIM360/ACC

  • Knowledge or awareness of AECOsim, Bentley MicroStation not essential but desirable

  • Understanding of COBie data formats and classification systems such as Uniclass is desirable.

  • Experience of computational tools such as Dynamo and its benefits are not essential but desirable.

  • Able to manage data in a secure and controlled manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationships.

  • Demonstrable experience of operating in a BIM compliant environment

  • Open to learning new software and processes.

  • Ability to manage own workload & work as part of a team.

  • A clear understanding of Building Information Modelling and its benefits to the construction Industry

  • A multidisciplinary approach to design, independent of background

  • Have an awareness of industry standards such as ISO:19650.
