Position Overview: The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading the sourcing of assigned product categories to achieve improvements in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), working capital and business financial goals. Best results will be achieved by using a strategic sourcing process to drive the activities involved in supplier selection, supplier development, and supplier relationship management. This role involves working closely with cross functional teams to achieve strategic sourcing objectives for the assigned commodities. Key Responsibilities: Develop, document, and communicate product category sourcing strategies and action plans that are aligned to the organization\'s business objectives and based on a strong understanding of the categories assigned. Develop capability to obtain the lowest possible long term cost through negotiations, competitive bidding, and market and supplier knowledge. Aggressively seek and recommend productivity improvement opportunities based upon new source, product substitutions, or improved process. Work collaboratively with Product Management, Sales, and Purchasing in sourcing new products and selection of new suppliers to support new growth initiatives.
