Greenfield Public Schools 2024 Summer Eats Program in Greenfield, Massachusetts

GREENFIELD MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE PART TIME & FULL TIME 2024 Summer Eats Program POSITIONS: Cook Manager (\$22.00/hr) - Oversees planning, production, and distribution of all meals - Orders food, milk, and paper goods and manages inventory - Manages staff and daily program operations, reporting to the Director Program Monitor (\$19.50/hr) - Conducts required site visits and follows up on any corrective actions - Collects and files all daily paperwork and ensures completion and accuracy; follows up with any site monitors that need additional training on paperwork Food Safety Monitor (\$19.50/hr) - Works closely with Cook Manager and Site Monitors to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation practices such as: taking temperatures, rotating stock and date marking, cooling and reheating foods, cleaning and sanitizing, etc. Site Monitors, Kitchen Staff, & Substitutes (\$18.00/hr) - Site Monitors assist with food production and travel to sites to serve and count meals - Kitchen Staff include dishwashers or other staff who do not travel to sites - Substitutes fill in where needed if other employees are absent Food Truck Staff (\$18.00/hr plus \$1.50 adjustment / hr for time spent on truck) Site Monitor duties plus loads and unloads food truck; cleans and stocks food truck; utilizes truck to serve meals at designated sites; reports any incidents or malfunctions *Manager, Program Monitor, & Food Safety Monitor may be asked to serve meals at a site as needed, or complete other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Director. Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. High School/Trade School degree preferred.
