Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Griffin, Georgia
We are hiring for a Industrial Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician that are interested in starting a new career with a great company. As an Industrial Mechanic or Maintenance Technician, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. In the industrial electrician role, you will ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. You must be able to understand technical documents, such as schematics, that detail job instructions. Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment
This is a full time and long term career opportunity.
Shifts: Day Shift or Night Shift - We have an opening on each shift.
Description:
Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strong preferred
Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills
Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
Familiarity with control technology (PLC /controls/inverters)
Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.)
Ability to work in team environment
Skills that are helpful that have but not fully necessary to have all this experience:
