Job Details Job Location 0347--2825 W DUBLIN GRANVILLE RD COLUMBUS OH 43235 - COLUMBUS, OH Position Type Full Time   Description JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Area Training Manager - Wisconsin ATS is seeking an Area Training Manager to support the National Guard with the implementation of the Connection and Relationship Education (CARE) System in Ohio. The role's work arrangement (on-site, remote, or hybrid) has yet to be determined and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY. Successful candidates will be required to pass a background investigation. About the role: A team is being composed to manage the implementation of the Connection and Relationship Education (CARE) Program for the National Guard (NG), which includes the planning and execution of site visits, marketing campaigns, trainings, and briefings across the nation. The team will work in coordination with the National CARE Team, which consists primarily of employees of the Idaho and Ohio National Guard, the two founding states of the CARE Program. The program teaches skills that help facilitate relational leadership to peers and subordinates alike. The curriculum will enable leaders to effectively communicate, build cohesive and ready teams, improve relationships at all levels, and identify motivational tools to assist subordinates. Leaders will also learn how to identify issues, concerns, risk factors, and warning signs and to make appropriate referrals to resources available through DoD, federal, state, and local resources. This program is critical to retention, readiness, and reduction of risky behaviors and emplacing protective environments in support of primary prevention strategies. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the National Program Manager, work closely with multiple stakeholders including NGB, National CARE Team, S/T/DC to support the successful development, implementation, and ongoing delivery and operations of the CARE Program. In Coordination With (ICW) the National CARE Team, identify program needs of S/T/DC and develop action steps to provide them with the resources they need to implement program/training. Coach trainers at the S/T/DC on adult learning principles and techniques to advance learning and ongoing development. Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions and maintain files and records of training attendance, completion, and evaluation. ICW the National CARE Team, develop support programs and training assistance for CARE, including an updated Instructor Guide. Develop and/or update follow-on Leadership Development Program content. Develop a trainer certification process. ICW the National CARE Team, review existing curriculum and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the organization. Oversee and monitor quality control and improvement activities at the S/T/DC level. Assist in managing the process for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the CARE program through various assessment methods, such as evaluations, surveys, observations, etc. ICW the National CARE Team, plan, schedule, execute, and instruct at least three CARE Train-the-Trainer Courses (3-day course). Qualifications Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in similar program management. Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences and the ability to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others. Ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels.
