Job Description About the role The Information Security Manager is a critical member of the IT Security Risk and Compliance team and will be responsible for a team of senior security experts providing security platform management or global security systems, third party risk management, security consulting, and to prevent or reduce cyber risks that could impact business operations. The Security Manager must be able to translate the IT risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications, as well as develop metrics for ongoing performance measurement and reporting. The Security Manager is a leadership role that requires an individual with a strong technical background, as well as an ability to work within the IT organization and business management to align priorities and plans with key business objectives. This role works at the direction of the IT Security Risk and Compliance Director and collaboratively with others across the global organization. Key Job Accountabilities Responsible for providing architecture, vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving. Remain continuously aware of business, infrastructure, and applications issues and function as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions. Manage a staff of information security professionals, hire and train new staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide leadership and coaching, including technical and personal development programs for team members. Work as a liaison with vendors and the legal and purchasing departments to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements for the owned platforms. Participate in change management board, architecture review board and other forums as required. Consult with IT and security staff to ensure that security considered in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications, and software. Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and laws and regulations. Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects. Participate in the development and implementation of the Amcor Security vision, strategy, and road map. Serve as an incident leader for major or high-profile security incidents including validating incidents, coordinating response, facilitating information sharing and conducting reporting. Research
