Your role at Clorox:

The role of the Regional Supply Planner is to lead all aspects of Supply Planning by managing inventory to secure supply to ensure business objective are met. Take full ownership for ordering from the Supplier and ensuring freight lead-times and costs are adhered to. Manage relationship with Supplier to provide supply visibilities and the 3PL to monitor rework requirements and costs.

In this role, you will:

S&OP Process

  • Full engagement in S&OP process to provide input on potential supply issues

  • Lead Supply Alignment meeting

  • Present Supply signal in Demand Alignment meeting

Inventory Management

  • Provide inventory insight – Target and monthly projection

  • Maintain certain level of inventory coverage to meet business needs

  • Prepare, Monitor and publish KPI on 1) FDOS; 2) Inventory value; 3) Excess, Aging & Products Freshness 4) Obsolescence cost, 5) CFR etc.

ERP / Tools Maintenance

  • EPR Itemmaster maintenance and daily operation

  • Planning Tools data maintenance and daily operation

Daily/Weekly/Monthly operations

  • Provide the Replenishment Forecast Plan to Suppliers

  • Purchase order creation

  • Inventory / supply status / OOS report to monitoring supply signal from suppliers and update shipment status from supplier / logistic team on:

  • Regular item

  • New Product Development

  • Customization or bundle pack

  • Co-packing forecast of customization / bundle pack to service provider, issuing & monitoring work order status and reporting

  • Manage Purchasing price with GSS, Finance and supplier

Project

  • Supply insight on all Projects

  • NOC (notification of change):

  • Closely monitor Phase in and Phase out process to minimize excess stock and meet Business soft/hard transit timeline

  • Closely work with supplier on new coding SOS (start of ship date)

Communications

  • Work closely with the Demand Planner to understand forecast build and Business needs/Marketing plan

  • Work collaboratively with Commercial Team (Sales and Marketing), Supply Planners (in US) and Logistics counterparts on day-to-day routines

  • Regular call / Triangle meeting with core Suppliers to discuss any forecast/PO/Supply issue.

What we look for:

a. Years and Type of Experience:

Required Skills

  • At least 3-4 years of work experience in Supply Planning, Inventory control and Supply Chain, preferably from FMCG

  • Understanding and experience of wider supply chain processes

  • Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning

b. Skills and Abilities

Required Skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships across the functions and levels

  • Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root causes identification, and problem solving

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and distil to key data points that drive decisions

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and balance priorities

  • Strong order planning management Skills

  • Strong communication and Interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations

  • Fluent spoken and written English skills

Preferred Skills

  • Data Sensitive and excellent analytical skills

  • Advanced computer skills in Excel (pivot tables, macros, vlookups, etc.), including building and maintaining complex formulas

  • Knowledge of BI is an advantage

c. Education Level/Degree:

  • University Degree in Supply Chain / Data Science / Engineering / Statistic or Operations Management. Other disciplines with high analytical skills and experience in relevant areas may apply.

  • Postgraduate studies in Commercial or Planning areas highly valuable.
