The Team:

The Enterprise Solutions business within S&P Global Market intelligence provides buy-side, sell-side, and corporate clients with industry-leading software, data and services. The business portfolio offers a broad range of product offerings covering enterprise data management, investment management, loans platforms, regulatory and compliance solutions, and private markets solutions.

The Impact:

Training Associate for Enterprise Solutions will design and develop learning material for traditional, classroom-style training sessions and web-based courses and deliver training sessions to new hires or internal cross company transfers. On a daily basis you will collaborate with the Training and Product teams to not just create new content but also adapt and evaluate existing course material to ensure the application of modern instructional design theories, practice and methods as well as the effectiveness of training initiatives. Though this role focuses primarily on face-to-face and virtual experiences, there will be a requirement to create e-learning content such as ‘how-to’ videos, manuals, and procedure documents. Responsibilities:

· Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across different departments.

· Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learners retention and knowledge transfer

· Deliver training sessions in a variety of formats, such as in-person workshops, online webinars, and e-learning modules.

· Work with subject matter experts cross functionally to identify target audience’s training needs, ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business objectives.

· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback sessions and make necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes.

· Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees, trainers, and managers to reinforce training concepts and promote continuous learning and development.

· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and instructional design to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.

· Maintain training records, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this role:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Proven experience (1 to 3+ years) in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate setting

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training materials to diverse audiences.

· Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple training projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and evolving training requirements.

· Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with subject matter experts, trainers, and employees at all levels of the organization.

· Familiarity with different training methodologies, such as instructor-led training, virtual training, and e-learning

· Lesson and curriculum planning skills

· Knowledge of training evaluation and assessment techniques.

· Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.

· Certification in training and development, instructional design, or a related field is a plus.
