About this role

Under the supervision of the Construction & Installation Head, you will be responsible to :

  • Coordinate with Site Supervisors and Adjusters

  • Ensure that the installation projects of Elevators and Escalators meet the company quality standard, achieve the project's profitability target, and satisfy clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review the loading forecast, completion schedule, and Manpower rolling plan.

  • Participating in site activities such as site coordination with subcontractors, builders, and consultants.

  • Coordinate teams of Installation Supervisors, Fitters, and subcontracted staff.

  • Attend tender meetings, review tender documents, prepare R&Q, scope of work, review contract documents, and assign engineers for the kickoff meeting.

  • Implement standard customer communication, review, and submit completion schedule to customers.

  • Support the Government testers and internal QC staff.

  • Solve defects, handover completed projects to the client, and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Ensures that the projects are implemented effectively to achieve the profitability target and/or not to exceed the cost limit. Regularly report project status and highlight potential problems.

  • Coordinates and communicates with the Technical Specialist and New Equipment Sales on installation issues.

  • Supervise the execution of work, materials, assemblies, and documentation and implement installation methods.

  • Ensure safety guidelines are communicated to and followed by staff and sub-contractors.

  • Monitor safe working practices, conduct a Fatality Prevention Audit for the project, take corrective actions when issues are found, and follow up until all are closed .

  • Implement the Go/No-Go process. Enforce WWJSSS and Cardinale Rules on the jobsite .

  • Updates EH&S policies & standards and local regulations. Ensure it is regularly updated with the latest version.

  • Monitor the progress of installations and inspections and perform final checks to ensure the lift installations are in line with company requirements.

  • Collect and analyze inspection checklist (plumbing lines, guard rails, roping, machine room, car completion inspection)

What you will need to be successful

  • Have a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or Automation degree or related qualification.

  • Has 8 to 10 years of experience in the Elevator and Escalator industry.

  • Ability to understand drawings and other contract documents.

  • Good project management, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of safety procedures.

  • Customer service mindset and works well in a team.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office.
