Advanced Field Service Technician
As an Advanced Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Mechanical Systems & Components business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to conveyors, PLCs, and DCS systems. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the satisfaction of our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our location on a work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to conveyors, PLCs, and DCS systems
• Provide advanced technical support and expertise for our customers in the Mechanical Systems & Components business unit
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service technicians
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
Regional Travel up to 100%
YOU MUST HAVE
• 5+ years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on electrical and mechanical solutions or Conveyor systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel over 100% of the year
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive assessment demonstrating proficiency in Electrical and Mechanical principles and PLC programming
WE VALUE
• Associate degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
