With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, we're leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset.Oldcastle Infrastructure - Built For Life from Oldcastle Infrastructure on Vimeo .SummaryThe Production Assistant will perform a variety of general office and accounting activities by performing the following duties personally or through collaboration with other company personnel.ResponsibilitiesSupport operations by assisting staff, planning, organizing and implementing administrative systemsAssist in plant tours and greet customers and visitors as neededAssist in writing and updating production and safety SOP's and VOP'sAssist in reviewing BOM's for accuracy, update as neededRun daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for review with Production and Plant ManagerAssist in continuous improvement plant initiativesAssist in creating and sending PO's to vendors/suppliers and communicate lead timesAssist in reconciling production reporting and actual attainmentOpen new vendors via ticket system/Change vendorsReview/Update TimecardsAssist in setting up and performing cycle counts for inventory managementBackup / assistance for production schedulingPropose and assist in implementing office process improvements as identifiedRun SOX reports for appropriate parties to review and signQualificationsTo perform this job successfully , an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
