Description

We are offering an opportunity in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry for a detail-oriented remote Financial Analyst to join our team. To be considered for this role candidates must reside in either the EST or CST time zones. This role will require you to gather and analyze financial information, conduct quantitative analyses affecting investment programs, and communicate financial information effectively.

Day to Day Responsibilities and Project Assignment:

  • Collect, compile, prepare, and analyze data from multiple systems for processing revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions.

  • Quickly adapt to constantly changing requirements and business needs, implementing solutions as necessary.

  • Support Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process improvement initiatives.

  • Continuously review and improve processes to strengthen controls, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.

  • Assist the revenue team in ensuring contracts and agreements are processed in accordance with US GAAP and company policies, including reviewing revenue recognition for fixed fee projects using percent completion methods.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key revenue data as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports.

  • Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.

  • Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.

  • Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.

    Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.

  • Proficiency in analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.

  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with financial software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required.

  • An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.

  • 5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
