DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Network Administrator 1, you will be responsible for active directory administration and assisting in the creation of statements of work for contracted IT professional services.  You will have the opportunity to coordinate budget planning to project upcoming financial needs and continually improve IT vendor and supplier management activities to include procurement, accounts payable, and time tracking.  Organizational strengths are vital, as you will also be developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.  Within this role you will Install and oversee the installation of network hardware, software, and peripheral components as well as manage all IT infrastructure assets to ensure they are properly inventoried, maintained, and secure.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Network Specialist 2, Telecommunications Specialist 2, Telecommunications Supervisor, or Radio Telecommunications Specialist 2; or Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance; or Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance.
