Robert Half Plant Controller in Harrison, Ohio
Description
Plant controller needed to join growing Cincinnati location. As Plant controller, you will partner with the Plant operations team and provide financial expertise and guidance to the plant management. Strong knowledge of costing and inventory. Prior experience in a manufacturing plant accounting/finance role required(5 years+), along with a bachelor's degree in a related field, accounting, finance or business. Requirements • Must have minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller.
• Proficient in 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CapEx, and Eaton.
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.
• Familiarity with About Time, Accounting Functions, and Accounts Payable (AP) required.
• Must have knowledge in Budget Processes and Capital Management.
• Standard Costing, Standard Costs, and Standard Cost Accounting skills are essential.
• Experience with Annual Inventory, Epicor ERP, Epicor, Annual Physical Inventory, Adequate Inventory, and Annual Physical Inventories is required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience in managing accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of capital management and budget processes.
• Experience with standard costing and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with annual physical inventory processes.
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems, particularly Epicor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
