As Corporate Counsel, you’ll play a critical role in Legal, Risk & Compliance Department, supporting the global Critical Mission Solutions (CMS) and other lines of business. In this role, you’ll support a full spectrum of cybersecurity, data analytics, software application development, enterprise and mission IT, systems integration and other highly technical consulting solutions to government agencies as well as selective aerospace, commercial automotive and telecom customers. This role will be a key contributor involved in company risk strategy mitigation.

In this role, you’ll:

· Serve as the representative of the Legal, Risk & Compliance Department.

· Ensure the Legal, Risk & Compliance Department delivers the services required by business units and is accountable for those services.

· Visibly demonstrate and drive behaviors, actions and decisions that are consistent with our core values.

· Advise on the management of legal, insurance and compliance risks relating to assigned business units.

· Optimize the value added to CMS by the Legal, Risk & Compliance Department, including the use of technology, and performing work across geographic locations.

*Although remote candidates will be considered, location in one of the key markets of this business (U.S. Capital region or Tullahoma, TN) is preferred. Travel will be required on occasion.

Here’s what you’ll need:

· J.D. from an accredited law school, a solid academic background, and an active license to practice law in the U.S.

· At least 5 years of prior experience, including experience in a law firm and as in-house counsel, with a company providing complex solutions and services to government clients.

· Knowledge and experience with U.S. government contracting (Federal Acquisition Regulations, and including DOD and Civilian Agency Supplements) and related rules and regulations.

· Experience working in one or more business sectors, including cybersecurity & data analytics, nuclear, aerospace, C5ISR, information technology and telecommunications solutions.

· Experience with working with government clients in the intelligence and defense agencies.

· Experience with various commercial models and risks for the delivery of these services and product solutions.

· Experience with bid protests, claims, REAs/disputes and investigations.

· Current U.S. Government Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.

· Excellent business and financial acumen.

· Agility in the strategic support of the business.

· Demonstrated ability to counsel management.

· Ability and drive to serve as a trusted business and legal partner with a relentless focus on achieving business objectives while identifying and managing risk.

· Understanding of strategies to protect intellectual property rights relating to the delivery of technical service and product solutions in a rapidly evolving business environment.

· Ability to creatively tackle challenging and complex legal and business problems.

· Proven dedication to supporting Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, internally and externally.

· Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across the department and company.

· Ability to utilize technology, innovation and digital tools to create efficiencies and improvements in the operation of the Legal, Risk & Compliance Department.

The base salary range for this position is $117,900-223,950. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
