Position Summary
This position will play a key role in the creation, analysis and reporting of financial information to support management decision making and communication to internal stakeholders. Will be responsible for all financial aspects of the monthly close reporting/analysis and quarterly forecasting process creation and scheduling for the Risk business. Will prepare monthly premium/billing analysis for all lines of business, support for the annual pricing process, and creation of ad hoc analysis as needed throughout the year. Will be responsible for creation/maintenance of balance sheet reporting and analysis as well as responding to auditor/controller requests. This role will be accountable to the FEHBP CFO.
Job Responsibilities in FEHBP Finance
Monthly close reporting for FEHBP businesses
Create/Advise on monthly journal entries and monthly variance analysis.
Provide accurate and timely financial analysis.
Prepare forecasting models and input into Hyperion as required.
Coordinate accounting/financial matters with other departments
Create/respond to auditor/controllers request as needed.
Balance sheet analysis and reporting.
Participate in projects as necessary.
Required Qualifications
4+ years in finance or accounting
Experience leading a team or project
BA Degree and or relevant equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle general ledger
Experience with Hyperion/SmartView forecasting and reporting tools
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of:
Healthcare, managed care insurance or financial services
Financial planning and analysis
P&L ownership and key financial metrics
Basic Accounting background/understanding
Skilled In:
Financial management experience including business planning, accounting and financial analysis.
Collaboration with functional areas to drive results
Detail oriented
Problem solving skills
Advanced Modeling
Communication and presentation of financial information to senior leadership
Project management and process improvement skills preferred
Ability To:
Navigate analyze information and make recommendations to Senior Leadership

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$63,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
