Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Description

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where you will be instrumental in providing vital medical care and support to youth aged 6-12 in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. Your role will include conducting thorough safety, physical, and mental/behavioral health assessments, administering first aid and medications, and overseeing the medical needs of children throughout their stay. You will work closely with outpatient providers to ensure comprehensive care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care, efficiency, and effective discharge planning. Your responsibilities will also encompass initial nursing assessments, medication reconciliation, and meticulous documentation to meet all admission requirements.

Hard Skills

  • Experience working with adolescent population

  • Experience or strong interest in Behavioral Health

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or higher

Soft Skills

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

  • Flexibility in work hours and shifts

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hartford, Connecticut.

Work Environment

The facility includes a campus equipped with a gym and cafeteria, supporting a capacity of 23 individuals at a time. We are actively seeking and RN to join us for our second shift 3pm-11pm. Weekend availability is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
