Are you passionate about precision welding and looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking skilled Tig Welders to join a great team on a temp-to-hire basis. If you have a knack for fabricating and repairing metal components using arc and gas welding equipment, this position is perfect for you.
Summary of the Tig Welder position:
- Location: Hastings, Nebraska
- Shift: 1st, Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
- Pay: $18/hour
Responsibilities of the Tig Welder:
- Weld metal components together using Tig welding techniques as per specifications from layout, welding diagrams, or blueprints.
- Secure parts in position using bolts, clamps and tack-welds.
- Inspect welds for accuracy and conformance to quality standards.
- Perform welding on a variety of materials and thicknesses.
- Maintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements for the Tig Welder position:
- Proven experience as a Tig Welder or similar role.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
- Proficiency in using a variety of welding equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to pass a Tig Weld test.
