Robert Half Program Cordinator in Hauppauge, New York

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Credit Clerk in Hauppauge, New York. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in an administrative capacity within the telecom industry. Your main tasks will include processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy

• Handle customer inquiries related to credit applications and accounts

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any changes or anomalies

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly

• Coordinate projects to ensure they are completed in line with company standards

• Use Microsoft Excel to manage data and perform calculations

• Assist customers who are trying to access our programs

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times to maintain customer satisfaction. Requirements • Applicant must have previous experience in an Administrative Assistance role or similar.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.

• Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and schedules.

• Professional demeanor and appearance are necessary.

• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

• Proven experience in data entry and record management.

• Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge as required by the job.

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

• Proficiency in using scheduling software and digital calendars.
