BCAA is hiring a Regular Full-Time Marketing Manager for our Strategic Ventures team.      

We're seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive user acquisition and engagement for our new Marketplace platform. You'll develop and execute go-to-market strategies, manage diverse campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to optimize results. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure our marketing efforts align with business objectives. This is a hybrid role based on our Burnaby, BC (British Columbia) Head Office. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our 4567 Canada Way office and/or are not looking to relocate to BC will not be considered for this position.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for a Peer-to-Peer Marketplace Platform.

  • Manage Peer-to-Peer Marketplace brand development and standards.

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize reporting data for insights and recommendations.

  • Utilize in-depth understanding of the Peer-to-Peer Marketplace for fact-based decision-making and maximizing ROI.

  • Develop multi-channel strategies aligned with brand strategy to reach target segments effectively.

  • Manage internal stakeholder groups to champion a clear vision of the Peer-to-Peer Marketplace.

  • Analyze competitive landscape and make strategic recommendations based on industry trends.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on content strategy and asset development.

  • Optimize customer lifecycle and journeys through customer-centric design.

  • Manage final execution of launch campaign with brand team, agencies, and suppliers.

  • Implement media and tactics with internal teams and external agencies.

  • Execute ongoing marketing campaigns consistent with brand and product strategies.

  • Manage advertising budget for maximum effectiveness.

  • Evolve and improve based on customer insight and performance data.

  • Ensure channel readiness with timely communication of performance targets and plans.

  • Emphasize testing and innovation in campaigns and placements.

  • Monitor and support marketing and product performance changes, campaigns, and promotions.

  • Track industry trends, competitive actions, and customer feedback for market expertise.

  • Conduct competitive research and analysis for actionable insights.

  • Maintain productive relationships with internal marketing team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, digital, customer experience, and finance.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in marketing a Peer-to-Peer platform.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners for growth targets.

What you bring:

  • Diploma, degree and/or certificate in Marketing

  • 6-9 years marketing experience

  • Proven product and consumer marketing and go-to-market strategy development experience.

  • Ability to analyze, recognize, understand, and interpret consumer behavior, brand strategies, customer needs, channels/touch points and be able to turn this knowledge into action.

  • Experience managing multi-channel advertising campaigns.

  • High comfort level with MS Office Suite with expertise in spreadsheet, database and presentation applications.

  • Ability to work varied hours including weekends.

  • Bonus Skill! Experience in peer-to-peer product management

The salary range for this position is $88,000.00  to $110,000.00  and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%
