The team

Our Real-World Data & Evidence Science (RWD&ES) team is at the forefront of unlocking value from real-world data and translating data into insights and evidence to better understand patient needs, change the practice of medicine, inform regulatory and access decision-making and ultimately improve health outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

You will lead a strategic role responsible for serving as an end-to-end strategy and execution partner to solve business problems using real-world data.

· Identify, evaluate, and source fit-for-purpose data, developing robust RWE (Real World Evidence) strategies and delivering timely RWE studies with strong impact for all our stakeholders.

· Serve as the face of Sanofi to the institutions and organizations we look to develop RWD strategic partnerships.

· Identify data needs based on short- and long-term business and research questions, portfolio, and brand priorities to identify opportunities for developing strategic partnerships and develop data strategy recommendations.  

· Scout for appropriate data sources liaising with healthcare institutions, networks, and other database owners.

· Develop and maintain relevant senior-level relationships.

· Be externally focused while working closely internally with the RWD&ES team, as well as with a range of cross-functional partners in medical, market access (including Health Economics and Outcomes Research), digital, commercial and others.

· Negotiate and execute partnership agreements.

· Design and implement effective data access mechanisms and anticipate risks associated with partnerships, proactively develop plans and processes to mitigate potential challenges.  

· Manage alliance with ongoing partnerships.

About you

Experience :

· Significant experience in RWE (Real World Evidence), HEOR or related functions preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector. 

· Demonstrated experiences in leading end-to-end execution of strategic data partnership agreements with institutions or organizations, e.g. disease registries, hospital systems. 

· Experience working in multiple therapeutic areas – experience in Transplant, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes or cardiovascular is highly preferred. 

· Applied understanding in use of different types of health data for RWE generation

· You have strategic and visionary thinking capabilities to shape, influence and articulate innovative evidence generation.

· You are effective in a global matrixed environment working cross-functionally as a strong team-player. 

· You are a self-starter who takes an entrepreneurial approach to solving problems.

· You have a growth mindset and are passionate about unleashing the power of real-world data with data science to improve health.  

· You are an excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate positively and constructively. 

Education :

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. pharmaco-epidemiology, biostatistics, computational science, RWE and outcomes research or related) in healthcare is required

Languages :

· Fluency in spoken and written business English mandatory 

· Proficiency or working knowledge of French or other European languages a plus.
