Responsibilities

Provides medical nutritional therapy to patients by assessing nutritional status, developing a plan of care to maintain or improve nutritional status, periodically evaluating the patient's response to the plan of care, and modifying it as required for optimal outcomes. Counsels patients and/or families about food requirement, eating habits, and therapeutic nutrition.

To meet the growing healthcare needs of Henderson, Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican opened its Siena Campus in 2000, enhancing and expanding the services of the Rose de Lima Campus. This second acute care hospital boasts 326 beds, over 3,400 employees across all campuses, more than 1,300 active and associate physicians, and spans a total of 548,078 square feet, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for healthcare professionals. Our dedicated dietitians play a crucial role in patient care, providing expert nutritional guidance and support to promote overall health and wellness.

Qualifications

Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian; Working experience in an acute care hospital highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.

RG DIETCN Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian.

LIC DI NV Licensed Dietitian through the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.

Pay Range

$27.84 - $40.36 /hour
