Hormel Foods Shipping Order Tech-Sadlers in Henderson, Texas
Summary
The Shipping Order Tech 1 position performs the managing of finished product inventory and the preparation of client orders under the supervisor and direction of the Shipping Manager.
Essential Functions

Performs the safe operation of a sit-down forklift and electric powered pallet jack.
Performs a variety of scanner functions including staging, unstaging, loading, case transfer, etc.
Performs the organization of combos by lot, pack date and product code
Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time.
Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of a company approved frock, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold temperatures as low as 25 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit in the coolers and below 20 degrees in the blast freezers. The employee may be required to work in congested areas and must use caution while operating equipment through tight spaces.

The employee must often lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Frequent use/motion of hands, wrists and arms are required
