Sensata Technologies, Inc. Intern in Hengelo, Newfoundland
We are looking for a fast-learning, motivated intern or graduate student to develop a prototype Megawatt Charge Inlet Module in collaboration with a leading European truck OEM. The purpose of this module is to allow MegaWatt charging in a safe manner as well as to ensure proper communication between the vehicle and the charge station. The prototype module will be a combination of existing and new building blocks. Focus of the assignment shall be on optimizing the design for robust functionality and maximum power performance.
The minimum duration of the assignment is 4 months. The intern will be located at the Sensata Hengelo office.
Detailed Posting Description
Assignment
- Develop, assemble and test a single prototype Megawatt Charge Inlet Module that will be used by the customer
Daily activities
Design the components using Solidworks
Optimization based on thermal simulation
Using international standards as design guidelines
Align with prototype suppliers- design according to possible manufacturing processes
Assembly and test the prototype
Job Requirements
BSc or MSc student Engineering
Fluent in English (main language at Sensata)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be result-oriented
Must be a team player and able to build strong relationships internally and externally
Must be well-organized
Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
