Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and quality plans.
Operate forklift and industrial vehicles following OSHA guidelines.
Perform quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products.
Interact with computer systems for production and logistics functions.
Maintain and improve manufacturing area cleanliness.
Uphold a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and stand for most of the working hours.
Be flexible to work all required hours, including off shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
Experience with machine operation, assembly, general labor, packaging, and hand tools.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and tape measures.
Knowledge of CNC, calipers, mechanical machine operation, and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CNC or other automated equipment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (SAP is a strong plus).
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in using measurement hardware such as dial calipers and micrometers.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Capability to earn and maintain a forklift operator’s license and other industrial vehicle certifications.

You will be part of a world-class supplier of highly engineered fastening solutions for the plate heat exchanger and wind turbine industry. Join our newly formed business in Henrico County, VA, and work in multiple facets of the manufacturing plant including assembly operations and logistics. The factory and equipment are new, offering a diverse, challenging, and fun role. Be open to working the night shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm.
