BAE Systems Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Logistics Analyst in Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Sustainment Logistics Analyst for an exciting opportunity to support the Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) program.

This Logistics Analyst will be accountable to the SACCS Program Manager for all tasks assigned in support of the government System Program Office .

Candidate will work with a team of internal and external stakeholders to determine Logistics Sustainment scope, plan and track sustainment efforts across Strategic Automated Command Control System-Sustainment program, as well ensure platform maintenance plans/concepts are sound between field-level and sustainment-level maintenance. Candidate will advise programs, applying previous depot maintenance experience, lessons learned and knowledge of Log products, program actions, and events to improve the technical quality of SACCS Sustainment Logistics products. The person in this position will be expected to attend and/or generate internal/external meetings to discuss and provide input/guidance/take action regarding sustainment maintenance. Candidate will be expected to track/report outcomes of meetings and discussions.

Responsibilities include:

Directly responsible for determining configuration strategy/managing configuration of Logistics Products (parts provisioning, operator/maintenance manuals, Repair Parts and Special Tools List /Illustrated Parts Breakdown) against the platform through program phases and milestones, engineering releases/configuration changes and Engineering Change Proposals.

Reviews engineering drawings, proposed/approved engineering changes, determines impact, and provides guidance to the Logistics Team on what changes and when changes will need to be implemented (assists with tracking and planning).

Works with same drawings and changes to determine if issues or problems exist that could prevent implementation into Logistics. Documents and reports problems as necessary.

Works directly with engineering and vendor, depot and Central Repair Facility to obtain required technical data and information to provide to internal/external Logistics customers.

Develops and maintains detailed tracking documentation on configuration, configuration requirements, and reports status.

Provides regular and accurate updates to the programs and other stakeholders regarding configuration status, risk, and risk mitigation recommendations.

Attends and participates in program/Integrated Product Team meetings as needed, working with internal/external customers to provide configuration status and requirements, commonality information and develops strong relationships with key internal/external personnel to accomplish Logistics project goals.

Provides input and assists in development of Logistics Business Management Systems processes.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in project/program management (5 years with bachelor s degree).

Demonstrated comfort and capabilities working under stressful conditions, aggressive schedules, variable workloads, and shifting priorities.

Risk management experience; demonstrated management experience evaluating and mitigating risk at the program or enterprise level.

Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in managing program cost, schedule, and/or performance.

Must have a current Secret security clearance or higher (adjudicated within the past 6 years) and be eligible to obtain and maintain all required Special Program accesses.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Experience at a System Program Office (or higher-level staff) executing/overseeing program(s) in the sustainment and acquisition phases.

Understanding of integration across multiple areas of an Acquisition Category III level program.

Exceptional customer engagement, writing, and communication skills Experience creating presentation content for executive level meetings and conducting senior level meetings.

Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) sustainment/acquisition program management processes.

Strategic thinker and innovator with continuous improvement mindset.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
