As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to promote and grow these solutions, contributing to the transformation and success of higher education.

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive the adoption and growth of our learning solutions for our Courseware, Trade and Advanced Content portfolio. As we move into significant growth and transformation for our Higher Education businesses, the role will support innovative and impactful programs to fuel the success of our diverse portfolio.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently, learn quickly, stay highly organized, and pay close attention to detail. This role is ideal for a motivated and data-driven product marketer who excels in creating compelling narratives, synthesizing insights, and driving product growth and adoption. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet the needs of educators and students and resonate in the market.

How you will make an impact

  • Go-to-Market for Products and Key Verticals: Lead the cross-functional teams to support the launch of new products, developing go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, opportunities, and adoption for sales.
  • Market Insights & Voice of Customer: Conduct market research to identify trends, assess customer needs, evaluate the competitive landscape, and provide insights for product positioning and strategy. Ensure customer feedback informs product development and marketing strategies before, during, and after launches.
  • Sales Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver effective sales enablement tools and marketing collateral, ensuring the sales team is equipped to capture the voice of the customer and trained on new product launches.
  • Business Alignment and Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Field Marketing, Editors, and Corporate Sales teams to maintain transparency, achieve common goals, and ensure alignment across the business.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and 3-5 years of prior product marketing in an education, online EdTech or comparable business
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
  • An energetic and willing attitude
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems and processes which support the marketing and sales functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
  • Travel up to 10%.

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the UK, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
