20.60 per hour $20.60/hr | Holmdel, NJ, USA | Hourly | Part Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

May perform one or more of the following duties as determined by manager or business needs:

  • Receive mail at mailroom from U.S. letter carrier and sign for registered or certified letters, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon, WB Mason, etc.

  • Receive incoming courier's items and place in designated tenant location on the floor for tenants to pick up.

  • Read labels and addresses and sort incoming mail into tenants mail slots.

  • Retrieve mail from mail slots and place into mail cart by tenants names for delivery.

  • Deliver mail & packages to the appropriate tenants within the building, offices or individuals.

  • Physically distribute mail and Courier packages by cart, dolly or hand truck to tenants throughout the building.

  • Make timely collection of outgoing mail (letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, interdepartmental), using cart or, for larger items hand truck or dolly.

  • Prepared outbound U.S. mail and courier's items for pick up at the end of the day.

  • Must have computer and data entry skills.

  • Work well with others and as a team player.

  • Assertive and resourceful; self motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative be able to communicate clearly.

  • Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.

  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure; resilient.

  • Able to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 1 - 2 years of experience in the mail, office services.

  • Excellent administration and computer skills.

  • Knowledge of shipping & receiving.

  • Able to set priorities and motivate others.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be flexible to adapt to changes and multi-task.
