Core Responsibilities

  • Act as Finance Business Partner for Hong Kong and Taiwan (HKTW) steering BU financial performance from revenue to EBIT

  • Key member of HKTW BU Leadership team and APAC Market & Channel Finance team

  • Lead in-year financial planning and review cycles in HKTW BU

  • Champion investment efficiency and productivity agendas with financial analysis and data insights

  • Steer overall P/L management with deep focus on revenue management, trade investments and marketing spend as well as overheads

  • Broader finance oversight (“a’la CFO”) in market and organization to connect various elements of governance and stewardship led out of Finance / Treasury / Tax / Legal

  • Represent Finance in HKTW business steering meetings and LT meetings to bring in financial insights for better decision making e.g. demand planning, business performance reviews

  • Drive strong financial governance including strengthening of internal control demeanor, behaviors and processes

  • Ad-hoc projects

In this position, you act as a business partner towards HKTW General Manager and Leadership team. This role is the only commercial finance resource in the BU, but will work with controlling team and accounting function to make the numbers right.

The role is part of APAC Market Finance organization, which is responsible for finance business partnering towards all commercial functions in APAC region.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Degree or equivalent experience and able to demonstrate financial foresight & management accounting proficiency.

  • Must have worked and delivered results in the field of commercial finance and business partnering involving both analysis and controlling.

  • Proven track record of being able to lead financial planning process and influence investment decision with financial insights.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and is not afraid of getting into details.

  • A phenomenal teammate with strong communication and interpersonal skill.

  • Self-starter, comfortable operating independently and remotely within a global network.

  • Analytical and can solve problems, make recommendations, convey clear messages sometimes with limited data.

  • A high level of professionalism that delivers results when required, typically above expectations.

  • Strong commercial savvy with an innovative approach to finding mutually beneficial solutions.

  • Combines a well-developed analytical ability with tenacity, to see ideas through to execution.

  • Curious approach with a strong end to end business understanding, proactively looking for opportunities to contribute financial skills across business fields.

  • Motivated to work with others and seeks to understand other views.
