Job Title: Studio Director

Job Description

Join our team as a Studio Director in our Honolulu office, where we specialize in the design of high-density multi-family housing, mixed-use, and hospitality developments. This role involves acting as the primary client contact, leading project teams, and collaborating with the Principal In Charge to produce architectural designs that meet our standards. The ideal candidate will communicate all project aspects to the client, provide project leadership and oversight, and ensure adherence to program requirements, budget, and schedule. Responsibilities also include responding to RFPs, mentoring project teams, and maintaining a commitment to sustainable, community-respecting developments.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of current construction methods, procedures, and costs

  • Understanding of contract language for architectural services

  • Licensed Architect in the State of Hawaii

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and design

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Irvine, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

The position is based in our Honolulu office with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for two to three days of remote work per week.
