QC Microbiology Senior Analyst (Microbiologist II)

Department Description

As QC Microbiology Senior Analyst, you’ll be joining a team where different backgrounds and experiences are respected. You will be part of a team of 20+ Analysts, Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts, reporting to one of the Team Leads QC Microbiology.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

  • Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms.

  • Perform microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading.

  • Data entry, Reviewand trending of assay results.

  • Develop, revise and review procedures.

  • Conduct investigations regarding out of specifications (OOS) results and address and manage deviations related to our procedures.

  • Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces.

  • Support department projects.

  • Performotherduties as required.

  • There is a shift pattern with this role, including some weekends and evenings (not nights)

Qualifications

  • MLOlevel 4 (Vocational Training) or bachelor’s degree in Microbiology preferred with 2 to 6 years of Microbiology lab/Environmental Monitoring experience.

  • Experience in the application of microbiological techniques such as air monitoring, water testing, surface monitoring, genus and species identification of microorganisms.

  • Experience in aseptic techniques and clean room operations.

  • Ability to gown for entry into clean room and supporting areas and lift approximately 12Kg.

  • Knowledge of GMP, Regulations and quality control processes.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and other applications.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English are essential in this collaborative work environment(Dutch is not required).

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environmentand able to adjust work activities based upon changing priorities.
