Contreras Stable Inc seeks 10 temp FT Thoroughbred Racehorse Grooms 10/01/24-04/30/25. Duties: Attends to the overall care of thoroughbred race horses including feeding, watering, maintenance of stalls and rack, cleaning, brushing, trimming of horses, disinfecting stalls and bedding, administration of meds as directed, inspection of horses physical condition. Will lift legs and clean horse\'s feet and apply liniments and bandages to legs as required. Will care for 1-5 horses at a time. Split shift 5AM to 11AM and 3PM to 5PM. Days off Rotates. Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. 1 mo. exp. req. Lift up to 50 lbs. Worksite Oaklawn Racing and Gaming, 2705 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901. \$15.49/hr Mon-Sun; 40 hrs/wk; day off rotates; split shifts 5am-11am, 3pm-5pm. OT may be available at \$23.24/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. Optional employer-offered housing in the backstretch at no cost to the worker. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts.
