With a commitment to innovation and efficiency, we are seeking an experienced B2C Ecommerce Product Owner to join our team and drive the development and enhancement of our B2C websites.

Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced B2C eCommerce Product Owner to lead our business-to-consumer (B2C) online platforms. This role encompasses strategic leadership in eCommerce, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing a multifaceted web team that includes UI/UX designers, developers, graphic designers, content writers, digital marketing specialists, SEO specialists, PPC specialists, On-Site Search specialist and other key members. As the driving force behind our online presence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience, optimizing digital marketing strategies, and ensuring the seamless execution of eCommerce operations.

Responsibilities:

B2C eCommerce Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2C eCommerce strategy aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and overall brand strategy.

  • Develop and maintain detailed website roadmaps that outline the website's development roadmap, including timelines, milestones, key features, and dependencies. Ensure the roadmap aligns with the website strategy and communicate the website’s direction to stakeholders.

  • Prioritize product features based on their impact on customer satisfaction, business goals, resource constraints, and market trends. Utilize data-driven decision-making and prioritization frameworks to make informed choices about feature prioritization.

  • Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and sustainable growth.

  • Foster strong collaboration between design, development, and operational teams to achieve cohesive product outcomes.

Revenue Growth:

  • Establish and achieve revenue targets, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions.

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies that enhance sales and profitability.

Customer Experience:

  • Enhance the online customer journey, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface.

  • Implement strategies to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty through the eCommerce platform.

  • Monitor user feedback and analytics to identify areas for B2C website improvement and optimization.

Digital / Operational Alignment:

  • Assure the efficient day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platform.

  • Meet with the Operations Team to assure digital strategy is in alignment with fulfilment operations and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely order fulfilment.

AI Strategy Implementation:

  • Development and implementation of an AI strategy to assist customers and reduce the customer service workload.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI in personalized product recommendations, chatbots, and other customer-facing applications.

B2C Web Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional web team, including UI/UX designers, content writers, graphic designers, digital marketing specialists, SEO specialists, PPC specialists, On-Site Search Specialist, and other key roles.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.

Customer Service Support:

  • Provide the customer service team with the digital tools needed to provide exceptional service.

  • Collaborate with customer service to address digital platform issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.

B2C Digital Marketing:

  • Lead B2C digital marketing initiatives, optimizing SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising channels for our B2C websites.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist to execute targeted campaigns that drive traffic and conversion.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Responsible for measuring product success and communicating results to stakeholders.

  • Utilize data analytics to monitor KPIs and make data-driven decisions.

  • Regularly analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to identify improvement opportunities.

Technology and Operations Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Development Team to ensure the eCommerce platform is robust, scalable, and secure.

  • Oversee operational processes related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and overall system performance.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements.

  • Optimize user experience and operational efficiency through continuous improvement and innovation.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing B2C eCommerce businesses.

  • Strong leadership experience with a focus on leading diverse web teams.

  • Understanding of operational efficiency, order fulfillment, and customer experience.

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, online merchandising, and customer experience optimization.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.

  • In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across various departments.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding business goals.

  • Passion for technology and B2C products.

  • Ability to empathize with users and understand their needs.
