Kuehne+Nagel National Project Logistics Customer Excellence Manager in Houston, Texas

Your Role
Reporting to the National Project Logistics Manager you will have P&L responsibility for Project Logistics Operations & Customer Service. The core purpose of this role is to achieve the highest customer service quality and profitability goals through the management of the supporting workstreams within the team. The manager must ensure successful customer onboarding. You will also provide direction and leadership to the management teams to ensure the Corporate Project Logistics strategies are delivered. Talent development and mentoring is key to this role.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for Project Logistics P&L management, meeting NP2 targets and maintaining financial reporting as required.
Providing leadership and guidance to the operational management team
Ensure the highest customer service quality is given at all times.
Ensure operational efficiencies and continuous improvements.
Ensuring the required staff levels are maintained based on the business and financial requirements.
Provide the strategy and a clear plan for strategy deployment to the operational management team for execution.
Maintain relationships with your internal business partners (e.g. HR, finance, BU products, etc.)
Successfully onboard new business ensuring that the client's requirements are met, and that profitability is achieved.
Ensure that compliance controls are in place and reviewed regularly.
Effective cost managing & constant oversite of the FSL.
Your Skills and Experiences
2+ years' experience in Project Management
2+ years' International Project Logistics Experience
2+ years' Leadership experience with 50+ direct reports
2+ years' experience in Energy or Marine logistics with special cargo handling
1+ years' experience in P/L management
