Siemens Energy Repair Center Manager - Houston in Houston, Texas

A Snapshot of Your Day

Manage shop and office personnel at the Service Center in the repair of critical turbomachinery equipment. Prioritize shop work and develop tasks for the employees to meet requested internal and external delivery dates. Manage shop P&L and forecast and report to Finance and upper management. Work alongside Safety and Quality managers to monitor and maintain policies and procedures. Maintain customer feedback database and initiate complaint/NCC resolution. Identify and implement Lean strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability. Customers include oil refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, universities, hospitals, and mechanical contractors.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelors in engineering or similar degree is preferred.

  • 8+ years of repair Rotating Equipment Experience (ST. Compressors) is required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.

  • 5+ Years of experience managing operations is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills is a must.

  • 5% Travel required.
