Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising project work operations via deck crew

  • Supervise the daily tasks of the rigging crew

  • Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety standards and Work practices

  • Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with all safety and quality requirements

  • Organize and distribute above deck activities for Rigging Crews

  • Continuously monitor rigging equipment being used and remove from service any found defective

  • Ensure only trained personnel from Rigging Department use machinery and equipment

  • Ensure all relevant safety procedures are adhered to with regard to rigging works undertaken by way of TRAs/Permits

  • Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • High school graduate

  • Minimum 4 years experience in offshore construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years as a Rigger Leaderman

  • Previous experience as Rigger Leaderman/Rigger
