Fujitsu SAP CPI Integration Consultant- Greenfield in Houston, Texas

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP CPI Integration Consultant with a strong background in EDI, Groovy and extensive experience in end-to-end implementations with hands on CPI/BTP experience. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, deep knowledge of SAP CPI, and a proactive approach to enhancing service quality and delivery. As an SAP CPI Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP systems and various third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects, leveraging strong Groovy experience and technical expertise in SAP CPI.

  • Understand and analyze business process flows, collaborating closely with functional consultants to gather requirements for interface development.

  • Coordinate with third-party application owners for mapping, connectivity, and testing, ensuring smooth integration processes.

  • Develop and Maintain API’s using API Management.

  • Develop and Maintain Banking interfaces in SAP CI and SAP Multi Bank Connectivity (MBC)

  • Develop and maintain integration flows (IFlows) using SAP CPI Web UI, scripting languages like Groovy and Java, and API-based integration techniques.

  • Develop Transformational Logics using Message, XSLT, and Value Mapping.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, utilizing knowledge of adapters, mapping techniques, and message formats (XML, JSON, EDI, IDOCs, BAPI).

  • Configure and maintain standard adapters such as Open Connectors, ODATA, IDOC, HTTP, SFTP, AS2, FTP, SOAP, RFC, JDBC, AMQP and JMS adhering to best development practices.

  • Support operational activities including incident, request, change, and problem management aligned with ITIL standards.

  • Provide technical insight and guidance to support other developers in integrating existing systems and following best development practices.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand integration requirements, design interfaces, and support Go-live activities and post Go-live maintenance.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in SAP CPI and integration domain, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.

  • Experience working on BTP Platform.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in middleware application.

  • Minimum 6+ years of SAP Cloud integration in Cloud Foundry experience

  • Strong understanding on SAP integration suite capabilities such as API Management, Open Connector and Trading Partner Management.

  • Strong understanding on SAP BTP and Services like Cloud Connector, MBC, and Event Mesh.

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Groovy scripting, and scripting languages like JavaScript and XSLT mapping.

  • Expertise in SAP CPI components such as IFlows, ICO, SLD, ESR, and ID objects, with knowledge of standard naming conventions and design guidelines.

  • Design, deploy, debug, test and monitor IFlows in cloud integration.

  • Solid understanding of integration technologies and communication protocols such as Open Connectors, ODATA, IDOC, HTTP, SFTP, AS2, FTP, SOAP, RFC, AMQP, JMS and JDBC

  • Strong Expertise with industry messaging standards such as EDI X12, IDOCs, XML, JSON, PIDX, WSDL, Delimiter and Fixed Length.

  • Design, Test and Maintain Webservices using OData, SOAP, and REST

  • Hands-on experience with technical adapters, B2B adapters, graphical mapping, UDF, and API management.

  • Expertise in creating API Proxies and deployment.

  • Strong proficiency in create, analyze and update MIGs and MAGs.

  • Hands on experience with Open connector integrations.

  • Hands on experience in Message and Value Mapping.

  • Experience with Data sources.

  • Familiarity with SAP systems (S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Concur etc.) and non-SAP systems integration.

  • Experience with cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises connectivity, cloud connectors, and API management.

  • Analyze, Design, and develop API’s using SAP API Management and SAP API Business Hub.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, etc.) and basic testing tools (SOAP UI, POSTMAN, etc.).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Positive attitude and proactive nature to work with Cross-Teams.

  • Working knowledge of agile and waterfall development methodologies.

  • Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, Effective communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in SAP CPI

  • Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CPI, and open connectors.

  • Knowledge of SAP ALE/EDI/IDOCs, alert configuration, and transportation of design and configuration objects.

  • Understanding of Cloud Foundry Environment, SAP Integration Suite and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $111,200.00 to $155,680.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.​
