Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical FP& A Analyst to join a world class healthcare organization here in Houston, Texas. This role will involve comprehensive review and analysis of financial data, performance, and operating procedures to enhance efficiency. The candidate will provide crucial insights for strategic decision-making, seeking out opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze current and historical financials, performance, and operating procedures.

• Develop plans and recommendations to enhance efficiency based on the analysis.

• Evaluate financial information to assist in reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

• Identify trends and discrepancies in financial data and advise on necessary adjustments.

• Prepare detailed reports to advise and recommend actions based on sound analysis.

• Offer creative alternatives to reduce costs and improve company performance.

• Develop financial tools and models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.

• Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision making.

• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact outcomes.

• Provide training, guidance and oversight to junior members of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) team.

Requirements • Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Experience with Cash Flow Modeling and Forecasting & Modeling

• Strong skills in Data Modeling and Financial Modeling

• Ability to perform Statistical Analysis

• Familiarity with Income Statements

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and NetSuite

• Demonstrated experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst or a similar role in the finance sector

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) will be an added advantage.
