Title:

Sr. Process Engineer / SME - Refining and Petrochemicals

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for a to support large scale EPC projects.

Responsibilities:

· Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.

· Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

· Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

· Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

· Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

· Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations

Qualification/ Certification:

· BS degree in Engineering with 15 plus years of hands-on process engineering experience strongly preferred in petrochemical, midstream or other heavy industries.

· Excellent verbal, written communication skills required.

· Experience working in refining and petrochemicals.

· Previous experience working for an EPC firm.

Skills Requirement:

· MS Office (Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word, working knowledge in Access)

· MS Office (Excel and Word) and product proficiency required.
