General Summary:
We are looking for bright ASIC intern engineers with excellent analytical and technical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team responsible for delivering Snapdragon CPU design, flows for high performance SoCs in sub-4nm process for mobile space.
You will be responsible of CPU Implementation, with emphasis in synthesis, physical design, timing closure, power analysis and low power optimization.
• Develop constraints, run physical implementation, low Power checks, timing and power analysis
• Create design of experiments and do detailed comparison analysis to improve quality of results
• Work closely with RTL design, low power and automation teams to optimize performance and power
• Generate, review and validate design constraints to achieve timing closure of High-speed cores
• Tabulate metrics results for analysis comparison
Basic Qualifications:
• Graduate students major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CPU micro-architecture and their critical path
• Experience with Low power implementation techniques, High speed CPU implementation
• Experience with constraint management tool and Verilog coding
• Experience with Perl/Tcl scripting
Skills:
ASIC Synthesis, Design Synthesis, Physical Design, Perl/Python Programming, RTL Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Synopsys PrimeTime, Tcl Programming
