Aerotek Shipping And Receiving Worker in Hudson, Ohio
Description:
$19- $21 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 6:00am-4:30m Monday-Friday
Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
Typical Day:
• Will be trained in 3 different departments – warehouse, spare parts and dock
• Will be driving a forklift and operating overhead crane
• Will utilize a computer to look up work orders, print labels, and for picking parts
• Will ship through FedEx and UPS
• Will build skids and boxes for custom capitol equipment to be shipped
• Will pull orders and stage them for assembly
• Will unload and load large equipment in trucks
• Banding and shrink-wrapping shipments
• All order pulling is manual since they have such large parts – there is no scan gun
• Will need to be able to lift 50 lbs
• Receiving parts in the system and tagging parts – performing quality checks
• Prepping machines that are shipping on flat beds
• Moving parts that are 5,000 to 100,000 lbs
• Driving forklifts that have capacity to lift 12,000 lbs
• Using hand tools to build skids and boxes for custom shipments
Skills:
forklift, mechanically inclined, microsoft office, inventory, shipping, recieving, loading/unloading trucks, overhead crane, fedex, ups, heavy equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have experience using computer system for shipping
Must have at least 1 year of experience in shipping
Must have tow motor experience
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have steel toe boots
Experience moving parts overhead crane is a plus
