Workflow Specialist (Entry Level) - Contigo Health What you will be doing: The Workflow Specialist performs various tasks and assignments related to all incoming and outgoing health insurance claims and claims related correspondence. You will also provide support services such as document imaging, data entry and workflow distribution to ensure these key business activities run smoothly in support of preestablished workflows. Claims Correspondence Open/Sort Mail Scanning/filing documents Required Qualifications Work Experience: Years of Applicable Experience - 1 or more years Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required) Preferred Qualifications Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong Communication Skills, specifically written Mailroom /Administrative / Office experience Prior experience working with Health Insurance Experience: Excellent attention to detail Ability to work efficiently Key Responsibilities Open, sort and date stamp all incoming mail according to set guidelines. Utilize the document scanner and/or other scanning equipment to create images of documents. Return documents to the sender that cannot be processed using pre-established cover sheet. Print, sort, trifold and mail daily letters. Research for missing or insufficient information. Return any misdirected mail to appropriate department. Scanning of documents for creation of Electronic Work Tasks (EWTs) for intradepartmental routing. Initial review and distribution of Coordination of Benefits forms. Maintains all mailroom inventory logs. Maintains closed loop reporting. Maintains filing system. Adheres to Premier's document retention policy. Regular monitoring of FaxCST folder. If the exertion of forces required is greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker remains stationary most of the time, the job is considered light work. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $27,000 - $51,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
