Robert Half Part-Time Bookkeeper in Huntersville, North Carolina
Description
We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis for approximately 20-25 hours a week. As our bookkeeper, you will be mainly responsible for managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. A successful applicant will be proficient in QuickBooks and have experience in all aspects of bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping duties, which include data entry and maintaining and updating financial records.
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Prepare tax filings and complete ongoing tax requirements as needed.
Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
Create and deliver periodic reports.
Provide support for the annual audit process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
Associate degree in accounting or business administration preferred, high school diploma/GED required.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
At least 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Sound understanding of confidentiality and data privacy standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
