We are looking for a team player who can help provide technical expertise and guidance to our global organization to ensure adherence to globally consistent accounting policies and advisement on new transactions or accounting matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete and maintain company accounting policies and procedures within the global accounting organization.

Perform/assist all teams within the accounting organization to ensure the accounting treatment of all complex transactions and new contracts is appropriate .

Assist with accounting research, documentation, and implementation of new or enhanced accounting policies and subsequently monitor adherence to such policies.

Perform quarterly assessments for various areas including goodwill valuation, going concern assessments, etc.

Develop and maintain relationships with all teams in the accounting and finance organizations, assisting with any complex or unusual accounting items as they occur.

Assist with quarterly SEC reporting cycle.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

4-Year or master's degree in accounting

Certified Public Accountant

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience preferred, including Big 4 audit experience .

Experience in performing advanced technical accounting research and analysis, and documentation of alternatives and conclusions.

Strong understanding of GAAP concepts and the ability to communicate those concepts to other stakeholders in the Company.

Understanding of public company reporting and filing requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Strong working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Strong written communication skills both written and verbal

Strong technical GAAP research skills

Knowledge and experience of current SEC rules and regulations

Ability to work independently and meet multiple, concurrent and aggressive deadlines
